My Hero!........count your blessings!

I'm still feeling sick.
Chicken soup is done.
The aroma alone makes me feel better.
My husband told me not to go anywhere for a couple days.
It rained and everything is now covered in a sheet of ice.
Even for this---and I hate ice---I am thankful.
I don't want to go anywhere!

We still have no oven.
But it has been found and will go out tomorrow morning.
It should arrive Monday.
I am glad because I have more time to work on the kitchen.

The truck is fixed.
Turned out to be something that had been recalled.
Fixed free at the dealership.
Nice!
My dear husband got home safely.

After dinner
he took the door off the dishwasher full of dirty dishes.
He cleaned and readjusted it.
He put it back together pushed a button
and announced, "It works!"
My  hero!
Swishing/washing noisiness has never been so sweet to my ears!

Little trials of the day brought
big joys for the night!
Thank you, Lord!

But, why am I surprised?
